How Engaged is Your Mind?

          For the past several weeks, I have been pursuing the topic of engaging my minds in my faith journey.   Now that’s a thought-provoking subject!   I didn’t say that to be funny, but I wanted you to stop and consider how much thought do you invest in your faith journey?   The Bible says,   “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.”   2 Timothy 2:15 (ESV)    On my quest I read two separate passages written by the apostle Paul that spoke of the need for mind renewal.   The first, a familiar passage says, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:2 (ESV)   Often, Christians approach this transformation from a behavior modification standpoint assuming that they can force the change to happen; however, this verse indicates that transform
